The Finale: Nerizza and Vri

From the moment I decided that my characters lived in their own world and I was telling the story of their lives, something I'd been working at is figuring out how those stories would end. I'd love to keep doing stories and pictures about them forever, but realistically speaking, I may one day, years from now, decide it's time to end their tales and I want to be prepared for that instead of throwing something together. The picture is just a sneak peek at that future.

Figuring out what happens to the catkin in their future was a difficult process. I bounced around the ideas for a bit before coming up with at least how I want the last scene of their story to end up with. At this time, I'm still not sure what causes this to happen, but rest assured it will be the biggest thing they've gotten themselves into.

For those curious, the inspiration for this bit of ending came from the following ending dialogue from a certain Wii game. If you know it, don't spoil it.

"I want to bail, but where the hell's the exit? There's no way out, is there? No getting out... Right, bro?"
"That's right. All we can do is keep running."
"Then let's find that exit they call Paradise."
